Dr.Madhavi Bandara is an educationalist, human skills development trainer, and the senior executive director of the Institute of Professional Studies and Skill Development in Sri Lanka.She received her first education at Sumana Balika Vidyalaya.She continued her tertiary education at the University of Colombo and received her master's at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura.She started her career as a lecturer at University of Sabaragamuwa.She studied doctors of philosophy about the behavioural science of psychology and counselling (International University for Complementary Medicine, Sri Lanka). She did her second PhD about social science at American National Business University (USA). She is also a special life member at the United Nations Association (UNA) of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
